Helping Youth Find a Way Forward to Employment and Opportunity
Wayfinder is a 13-week paid employment readiness program for youth ages 15 to 30 who are looking for support getting started, building confidence, and finding their next step toward work or training.
Formerly known as Wired 4 Success, Wayfinder provides a structured and supportive pathway to help participants develop practical skills, explore career options, gain work experience, and prepare for future employment.
What to Expect
The program begins with four weeks of in-class learning, where participants build essential workplace skills, explore career pathways, set goals, and receive support with job readiness. This includes industry-recognized certifications and Microsoft computer training.
Participants then move into eight weeks of paid work experience with local employers, giving them the opportunity to apply their learning in a real workplace setting.
The program finishes with one final week back in the classroom to reflect on the work experience, strengthen job search skills, and plan next steps toward employment, education, or further training.
